Our peaceful 1-bedroom guest suite has everything you need for your Dannevirke stay. We provide free continental breakfast. Escape to the country- The Sows Ear @ Rahui

Welcome to The Sows Ear @ Rahui 🐷. 45 mins east of Masterton. A renovated cottage in the beautiful established Rahui gardens 🌸 You cant get much more rural than this. No phones, no wifi , just good old fashioned being 'present', hanging out with Mother Nature, listening to the birds, and enjoying the company you are with. Rahui has 3 houses on it, We are in the front house. You may see us walking about, or quad bikes. Rent the ebikes for a sweet as ride to the coast. Two great pubs near by

Approximately 8-10 minute drive to the outskirts of town, Massey University, the IPU Tertiary Institute and to our local Summerhill shopping centre with a supermarket, takeaways, laundry, café’s and restaurants. Palmerston North's CBD is about 13 km's. Your private entrance leads to a guest suite attached to our house with a lounge, separate double and single bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette with basic supplies for preparing meals.

Stoneridge Farmstay, bed and breakfast

Stoneridge Farmstay is a peaceful working Sheep & Beef farm where you can enjoy the stunning rolling landscape of the Tararua region. Situated in the side garden by the main house on a privately owned sheep farm (42 acres). Stunning views across the valley from behind the yurt and mountain views from the beautiful native garden surrounding the house. Guest bathroom is inside the main house. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at request and additional charge from my fully licenced food truck. Local superette 5mins drive away in the village, several nearby bush walks and wineries within a 15 min drive.

Large Family house near Castlepoint

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.

Tui's Perch Castlepoint Beach

A lovely two bedroom bach at Castlepoint. Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge & a great deck to enjoy the view! Comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 Queen rooms along with a nice leather sofa-bed in the lounge. The property is set just over half way up Guthrie Crescent so you know the view is a winner. A beautiful spot perfect to Relax and Unwind! Heatpump/air con Linen is not included but access to a Full Linen Service is available No pets allowed

Benbecula Cottage at Kereru

Nestled in the serene landscapes of Kereru Farm Weber, Benbecula Cottage is a charming rural retreat, perfect for up to six people. The Cottage

A private self contained cottage in a rural setting. This restored 1930's cottage is very cosy and comfortable. A heat pump is available for those chilly nights. The Cottage is located on a lifestyle block approximately 14 km from the centre of Palmerston North. The cottage looks out over a pond and paddocks with ducks and sheep. Guest access is by keypad on the main entry gate to the property.
