From your doorstep you can take walks high above Loch Ness in the Abriachan Forest Trust. It is an ideal base to capture the scenery and spirit of the Highlands. We have regular visits from red squirrels, pine martens, deer (behind the garden fence) as they eat my plants and over 23 species of birds during the year.

There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling with fantastic views over Loch Ness. The property has its own private patio and hot tub.

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.
