The little lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil, self contained getaway. A rustic, little lodge with a pretty kitchen Including a small fridge, grill / hob, kettle and coffee machine. A shower room. Staying here allows families and couples to explore and take in the famous sites of our spectacular welsh heritage by foot, bicycle, motorbike or car. Old School Manor - The Lodge

The Lodge is set in a one acre site enclosed by a 5ft high wall, and away from the main road providing a safe, relaxing and quiet environment. The Lodge is well placed, within 10 minutes of The National show caves for Wales, Henrhyd waterfall and the hugely impressive Four Waterfalls country. In addition, if you want to get high, the property is located only 15 minutes from Zip World and 30 minutes from Pen Y Fan. If you prefer beaches we are 30 minutes from Swansea bay and the Mumbles.

We’re set at the foot of the Brecon Beacons National park. We welcome couples, families, groups of 4, and of course pets. 🐶 We’ve added a little bit of luxury to our ‘cottage in the hills’ setting with the addition of our beautiful hot tub. Our location is surrounded by fantastic walks, rivers, waterfalls, and a pub 100yds from the front door. After a day out enjoying the fresh air, why not come home to a private dip in the hot tub, and a snooze in front of the log burner.
