La Cantera is a self-contained accommodation situated in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Once a double-garage, it has been converted to offer our guests beautiful panoramic views, easy access to attractions in the surrounding area, privacy, relaxation, tranquillity, and a high-end interior with the added luxury of a hot tub and a log burner. This charming, comfortable miner’s cottage is full of character, and perfectly located close to local amenities. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Aberdare town centre and train station, with excellent connections for exploring South Wales. Zip World, Pontneddfechan waterfall and Bike Park Wales are only a 10 minute drive, and the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park and Pen Y Fan is only a 30 minute drive. The property is an ideal base to explore and enjoy everything the region has to offer.

This recently renovated 3 bedroom house within 2 minutes walk to Aberdare town centre where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops - 15 minutes walk to Dare Valley country park, and 10 minutes walk to Aberdare train station. Just 15 minutes by car to Zip World, Pontneddfechan Waterfalls and Bike Park Wales. The stunning Brecon Beacons National Park and Pen -Y-Fan is around a 30 minute car journey making it a perfect place for families or group trips to explore and enjoy the region.

20mins to Brecon Beacons, short journeys to the Zip world Tower, Bike Park Wales Merthyr and Aberdare downhill centre just a stone throw away. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. With kitchen living downstairs and the upstairs having more of a hotel set up with 2 double beds a pull out bed settee and a single bed with shower suite. It’s possible to sleep 3 couples and another. Ideally better to leave the settee as a settee for comfortable living and relaxing both upstairs and down.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Set in the village of Treherbert in the upper Rhondda Valley in South Wales. A 30min drive from the Brecon Beacons and an hour by train from central Cardiff. Surrounded by beautiful Welsh hills, with miles of walking and cycling trails, the area is steeped in history and mining and musical culture. Shepherd's Hut in Brecon Beacons

Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

Edge of Brecon's Beacons, Zipworld Tower, Penyfan, mountain railway, & numerous walking trails & cycle paths. No pets accepted.
