The area around Skødshoved is a wonderfully beautiful natural area. The beach is a mix of stones and sand, mostly sandy, and has been awarded the Blue Flag. The house is not far from the small, cozy Skødshoved Marina, where you can catch crabs from the pier. The town of Ebeltoft, with its many attractions, is about 22 km away. Here, you’ll find the Old Town Hall, where you can visit the old prison cellar. From here, the singing town criers patrol the cobbled streets at 8:00 and 9:00 PM, a must-see experience. At the harbor in Ebeltoft, you’ll find the Glass Museum, which is a leading center for modern glass art. Ebeltoft also offers several charming restaurants and cafés, and you can buy freshly caught fish daily. A visit to Northern Europe’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, is also highly recommended and is about a half-hour drive from the house.
