An essential venue to play for any band on the up, and I have seen countless gigs here. Some of my favourite shows over the years include #1 Dads, Courtney Barnett, and alt-j on one of their first visits to Australia. It’s a thriving venue and evidence that there is no shortage of passionate music fans in Sydney. The venue was inspired by Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York during the ’60s. I always head over to the left-hand side of the room away from the main bar where there’s more space and another bar.
