This is a very cool park with lots of parking. There is a playground for the kids, restroom, and a beach. There are designated bonfire areas on the beach. This is worth checking out if you have kids.

Beach and Park just a half mile south on Lamont St. Views of downtown and the best place to watch the weekend fireworks shows all summer.
