A nice pub on the edge of the South Downs with views over the river. Can be fully booked especially for food so it is worth booking ahead.

Restaurant and bar set on picturesque river, outdoor terrace, small kids play area and parking. Can get very busy in summer/ weekends.

Admittedly the food is formulaic and it gets slammed in the summer, but this is a smart pub with a spectacular setting on the Arun. A river walk (2 hrs) from The Hay Store will deliver you there!

Right bang on Arundel river - great bar/restaurant food and location. You must go here one evening or summer's day.

Combine with a trip to Arundel - On the river at the end of a short no through road in Arundel - walk round the duck pond first - good food - can be busy
