Opening Hours: 6.00-17.00 This temple architecture is completely different from all others in Chiangmai. The main temple structure was originally built in 1497 during the reign of Lanna King Muang Kaeo. However, over 2 centuries of Burmese occupation in the region, Burmese monks had modified the temple's structure and add 4 Burmese style lions guarding the main golden pagoda. As with any Buddhist Temple, it is expected that you dress respectfully and keep your voice low so as not to disturb those who are praying or meditating.

中国著名电影《泰囧》拍摄地，布帕兰寺却分别在主殿三个方向供奉了三尊佛像，且每一尊佛像都可谓来历不浅。正面的佛像是由现在的国王亲自来到寺庙开光建造的，1980年开始铸造，1995年与寺庙现在的主殿一起完成，泰皇九世徽章也供奉在这里；右面大尊的佛像由兰纳王国第32任国王建造，缅甸战争时期，军队带着这尊佛像一起抗争缅甸，最终把敌人赶回缅甸，现在这尊佛像外面又被包镀了一层，并和第32任国王像一起供奉在这里；左面的玉佛来自曼谷，是曼谷大皇宫玉佛寺中的缩小版玉佛，玉石也来自曼谷大皇宫。
