You can bike ride or walk from out house to rye pier and shops through bush track or along the beach. 15 min walk

take a walk along the pier to see fishermen jigging for squid. If you look hard you may see the resident octopus that lives below the pier. We have also seen penguins and seals swimming below the pier from time to time.

There is a good, safe adventure playground here, right next to the beautiful white sands of Rye beach.
