404 Broadway is a quick but often too crowded walk from my duplex and is just South on Canal, across from the Post Office and Starbucks. It's a chain but sometimes you just get tired and want something with no grease (hold the cheese and sour cream) and it's just peaceful and refreshing. I don't have a problem with Chipotle at all but then I've never had Taim which sounds like the Israeli bespoke version. :)

Not really street market, but there are a ton of really cool, unique, international restaurants all up 9th ave, from about 40th to 50th streets. Thai, Italian, Afghan, Turkish, Middle Eastern, all kinds of cool places to check out! It's just a couple of blocks over from Time Square, so if you're looking for some non-touristy food nearby, this is the place to check!
