Shijō Kawaramachi is a vibrant part of central Kyoto, where Shijō and Kawaramachi Streets intersect. Two of four corners of the intersection are occupied by department stores: "Takashimaya" and "Kyoto Marui". Shijō Street is filled by a lot of restaurants and shops where you can enjoy in watching or shopping. In the northern part of Kawaramachi Street you'll also find some Karaoke houses.
