You’ll find the island of Sainte-Marguerite next to Saint-Honorat. There are four islands just off of the coast of Cannes and this is the largest (the two smallest can only be reached by private boat). Sainte-Marguerite has some lovely beaches and old buildings and is a great place to take some time out from busy Cannes.

Beautiful island with natural beaches, superb forest of pine & eucalyptus and the Museum of the Sea where The Man in the Iron Mask was jailed. It only takes a 15min boat ride from Cannes to get there.

Picnic on the Island - Sainte Marguerite island is the most beautiful natural area of the French Riviera. A great way to spend a day there is to prepare a picnic and snorkle. This point that I put here is not a specific place, but eastward after this area you'll be more likely to find a spot under pine trees shadow with few people.
