This is the main park in town. It has recently had an expansive remodel. Take the fishing poles from the garage and have a fun day at the park.

Manitou Lake is a perfect escape for a day trip (or even a ½ day trip!) It's far enough from the Springs to make you feel like you're camping, but not so far that you have to take an entire day out of your vacation. Manitou Lake is open year-round. You can lake fish in the Spring, Summer, and Fall and ice fish in the Winter! There is a $8 fee per vehicle. There are some picnic sites with tables and fire grates. Manitou Lake is for fishing and hiking; swimming is strictly prohibited. There is also a nearby bike trail (#699.) From the USDA website: Directions: From Colorado Springs, travel on US Highway 24 approximately 18 miles to Woodland Park. Take Highway 67 north approximately 7 miles. Manitou Lake is on the right (east) side of the highway one mile north of Colorado Campground.

Great place to fish for anglers of all skill levels. Stocked with rainbow trout! A calm and peaceful place to enjoy flat-water paddling. Bird watchers can enjoy paddling out with binoculars and seeing red-tail hawks, redwing blackbirds, and the occasional bald eagles. Centennial Trail is a great place to enjoy their epic hiking and biking trail.
