The renowned “Stopkova Pivnice” pub has always been one of the pillars of Czech social and cultural life in Brno. A pub was opened on this site as early as the mid-19th century. It gained its fame after the arrival of its new owner, the ingenious publican Jaroslav Stopka, who took over the original “Jonákova Pub” in 1910.
