This is sort of a museum and shopping in one! Shearwater pottery is a family owned pottery company that sells some of their goods. It is definitely worth a visit with one of a kind finds.

Shearwater Pottery is a small family-owned pottery in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, United States founded in 1928 by Peter Anderson (1901-1984), with the support of his parents, George Walter Anderson and Annette McConnell Anderson. You can visit, not only the showroom and purchase pottery, but the working studios where pottery is still made by hand with many of the historical machines from the early part of the 20th century. Peter Anderson's son Jimmy and grandson Peter Wade still carry on a long family tradition of art. As a footnote, I had the privilege of working right alongside Jimmy and Peter during 2007-2009, pouring slip-cast pottery. It was a most wonderful experience for me.
