The private bus company that serves Portland and Boston - a lot more convenient and punctual than Greyhound, also much closer to downtown (but still not walkable).

This is a godsend. Maine is a driving state. Hard to get around without a car, but we have found we can get from here to there with Concord bus lines. Particularly like the "Logan Express" from Searsport to Boston's Logan airport. We have used it dozens of times in order to avoid driving the four hours from the mid-coast to Boston.

It's an hour-10 min. from here. Go to Portland, Boston and beyond. There are Express routes that go to Logan International Airport in Boston.
