Takwa Ruins (a Kenyan National Monument) are just around corner from Tranquillity Camp. There you can admire what was once a Swahili settlement , including the Great Mosque and the Pillar Tomb.

Historic site and beautifully preserved buildings and monuments - Also the Manda Beach on the other side it great for a swim in huge waves
