Honeyman offers camping, but also has large, accessible dunes (rentable sand boards), a lake that's great when the beach is too windy, and boats available to rent in the summer.

This park is a terrific way to spend the day. In the sand dunes, a freshwater lake, food. We like going here in summer. Half hour drive.

Just over an hour away and worth every minute, Honeyman State Park is full of miles pristine white sand dunes for hiking and a clear lake for swimming with easy parking and restroom facilities for picnicking. Wonderful!
