lots of good restaurants and bars to choose from- you see every age group there, can get a little crazy late but is fine for families until 10 pm Love the Cotton Mill for shopping, Savorez restaurant, Pilot house (on the water) and suggest the riverboat tour (good history info)

Take a 30 minute drive into Wilmington and explore downtown! Downtown offers an expansive river walk along the Cape Fear River with a variety of waterfront restaurants, bars, and shopping! Be sure to check out the Cotton Exchange for some adorable shops.

Historic downtown Wilmington. Right on the Cape Fear River. Tons of food, bars, etc along Front Street.
