Nice lively place with terrace outside, close to the local food market. They serve fresh sea food. Oysters with champagne at reasonable prices. Authentic, friendly, smiling and effective personnel.

A real institution in Nice, brasserie Gambetta will offer you a selection of seafood with a remarkable freshness. You will also find the typical dishes of the brasserie cuisine in generous portions.

This brasserie is not located in the typical touristic part of Nice, but it’s well worth the 15 min walk from Place Massena. They menu is short but well composed and they always serve good (and cheap!) oysters and shellfish.
