It is said to be the botanical garden that represents Japan. Approximately 12,000 kinds of plants are cultivated in the vast park. Not only seasonal plants such as cherry blossoms and plums, but also many places here which have the concept of "interesting" such as "Shikisai no Oka" and "Western style garden". You can enjoy just sightseeing, just taking a walk in nature. There are many lunch restaurants and cafe around here.

This lovely display of a large variety of plants is a great place for families and couples, as well as single travelers that like a quiet place. There is a play area for children, and a large greenhouse that features all the climates of the world. A long canopy of trees adorns a lovely walking path. Very close to Kitayama station.
