Retired trains on the tracks in a nearby rural setting, also near the old Weyerhauser town and other tiny historic towns

A great outing for the kids. You can purchase train rides or just walk along the trail and look at all the old trains. Afterward you can get ice cream at Snoqualmie Ice Cream Shop:)

The railway museum offers a great overview of how the railroad ‘changed everything’, as well as seasonal train rides and a history center. The Depot park is open year-round. The Northwest Railway Museum is open year-round. The Museum consists of several locations: the 1890 Snoqualmie Depot, the Centennial Trail Exhibit, and Railway History Center. The Snoqualmie Depot is free and open 10am to 5pm. The Centennial Trail Exhibit is on a public walkway and continually open. The Railway History Center is available by train ($10) seasonally. Regular Trains also depart from the North Bend Depot. Check trainmuseum.org for more information and tickets.

Climb on trains! Visit the museum and try on a conductor hat. Across the street is a great sweet shop. Check website - they often offer short trainrides for kids (and adults!) up to North Bend and back. Sometimes Santa rides this train. Sometimes Thomas runs this track.
