Salida has it all. Great dining, shopping, trails, and a white water park right in the middle of town. Do yourself a favor and rent a duckie and float from stone bridge into downtown. Level 1-2.5 rapids depending on water flow. Simply gorgeous and low risk if you have some paddling experience.

A one hour drive away. Cool city on the Arkansas River. The Heart of the Rockies. White water rafting. Biking. Lots of cafes, breweries, restaurants, galleries etc

RIO VISTA is situated on the banks of the Arkansas River just 3 blocks from historic downtown Salida. Whatever the season, there’s a ton to see and do in Salida.
