La Basílica más emblemática de Guanajuato se encuentra en el corazón de la ciudad, en la Plaza de la Paz. Construida entre 1671 y 1696, de estilo barroco y neoclásico. Actualmente está rodeada de restaurantes, tiendas de souvenirs, bancos y heladerías.
