This is truly a unique (small) place to eat breakfast. It is very popular! Walk outside our studio and head up Spokane Street until you get to 17th! Great food and an awesome price. Two could get full on the amount that is served!

Sincere, zany establishment with excellent quality food for a fair price. Bertie Lou's Cafe has been in business since 1943. Hello! What does that tell ya? Best to come here for breakfast. Sit at the counter or wait for a table. Plenty of free parking out front. Comfortable picnic size tables located outside. I got the veggie scramble that came loaded with Zucchini, onions, tomato, spinach with a side of country potatoes (a little over cooked) and choice of toast. Matthew got a breakfast plate with sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs alongside biscuits and gravy. Our coffee was so good, they kept pouring the rich brew. Bring a pen and leave a piece of napkin art! One of the best breakfasts or lunches you'll ever eat. This is a tiny place, if lines you can order and it will be delivered across the street at the bar, where a great Bloody Mary awaits.
