“From Ruff Ridge this dog friendly hiking and camping area is a 36 minute journey. It is a glaciated landscape interspersed with numerous Lakes and Meadows and encompasses 113,000 acres with 30 miles of backpacking trails. The famous Pacific Crest Trail follows a scenic route on its eastern edge and several other trails criss cross the area. For camping it is not a first timer experience...and is geared more for those looking for a bigger outing. ”
