The Mumbles in Swansea offers a range of eateries, some lovely shops and beautiful scenery
Mumbles is a headland sited on the western edge of Swansea Bay on the southern coast of Wales. The name Mumbles is also applied to the district encompassing the electoral wards of Oystermouth, Newton, West Cross, and Mayals.
Good walk along the front, decent restaurants (Bistro Pierre, Croeso Lounge). Arcade machines at the end of the pier for kids (and adults).
The prestigious area of Swansea, home to Mumbles arcade, the pier, Verdi's Ice cream cafe and Mumbles Castle.

“Car park right next to a very safe beach, great for young children, dogs allowed on leads. Ice cream hut and The Beach Hut is an up market restaurant tight on the beach, plus the Owich Bay Hotel for drinks and meals. Lovely nature reserve walk behind the dunes. “The cakes are to die for (especially the carrot cake) & they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The traditional Welsh breakfast with cockle and laver-bread parcels is amazing! ”
