Pathe is the most popular chain for (blockbuster) movies in Amsterdam. The 'grote zaal' (theater 1) at Tuschinski (near Rembrandtplein) is utterly amazing and worth a visit!

With its impressive mix of architectural styles, this is without doubt one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world. If you can, go and see a film in screening room 1, it will take your breath away!
