If you're up for going to a luau or want to listen to some live Hawaiian music, taking a drive to the Kohala Coast offers lots of those things at one of the many resorts there. Not so much in Hilo, but depending on the time, you may find a live show or concert here in town.

Their Luau is right on the bay. You can watch the sunset while the dancers entertain you. The food is really good!
