4.1 miles. Tom was an avid home brewer since 1972 and working with other Maryland farmers, brewers, and local elected officials, Tom helped get Maryland’s Farm Brewery law enacted in 2012. Shortly thereafter Milkhouse Brewery at Stillpoint Farm was established, and the tasting room opened in June of 2013. Tom and Carolann are proud to have Maryland’s first Class 8 farm brewery.

Milkhouse is right around the corner! I HIGHLY recommend this spot, especially if the weather is wonderful. This is THE spot to watch the sunset. For beer lovers, its a must...if beer is not your thing, its still worth the trip to grab a bite to eat (Check for food trucks) and enjoy some of the BEST views around!Check their website for events , live music & food trucks. Look out for their 'star - gazing' nights...where you can view the planets & stars from high powered telescopes. Bring a blanket for a picnic or grab a table. Family owned and operated and a spot where locals go with family & friends all year round. You might get lucky and be there during a balloon launch.

Amazing country setting for a brewery. Local hops grown on the farm along with hay for their award winning sheep. Also for sale is yarn from their flock of Leicester Longwool sheep.
