-Local Food and Sports Bar with HUGE portions. Try the Kim Chee Fried Rice and the Kalbi!
This is somewhere you can eat local food. The price is reasonable with big portions. It can get busy so I recommend making reservations.
Super yummy asian fusion/local food. Could be a bit noisy and crowded but worth the wait. The portions are family sized. If you have party of 6 or more make sure to make a reservation.

“If you want to eat dinner in Waikiki or in Haleiwa, I highly recommend checking out Uncle Bo's. I love their shrimp dynamite, manila clams and baked Opa (a type of fish). They're very good.”

“Famous Portuguese malasadas bakery. Many flavors available (custard, haupia, chocolate etc.) but my favorite is still the original sugar coated malasadas. Finger-licking good!”

“Famous Waiola’s from Waiola street now has a 2nd spot in the neighborhood! Enjoy this local delicacy that’s here on the South Shore and not on the North Shore!”

“Diamond Head hike is simply a must for everyone coming to Waikiki! Yes, it will be crowded, but yes, the views are worth it from the top! ** Pro tip-- once you get out of the tunnel, take the stairway to the LEFT, not the right. You end up at the same place, but it's a bit easier and more enjoyable going that way. ”
