Great pub on the Embankment in Bedford. Sunday lunches are particularly good.

Ideal place for a pleasant walk - the river bank is lovely and well-looked after and there are flotillas of swans and other water birds frequenting this stretch of the river all year round. Good place for a picnic or combining with a perfect lunch at De Parys Restaurant
