Beautiful peaceful setting amongst the trees. Fantastic area for younger children, ducks, large sandpit, small play area. Walk along driveway, follow path under the bridge and end up on the beach!! Take a long lunch and just enjoy your surroundings.

Nice older cafe nestled in a lovely garden setting, can eat inside or on the lawn under the trees. Nice food. Kids can play safely on the lawn. Check out the history of Orewa and the first settlers in the area at this historic homestead. Phone 09-427 5570

Our personal favourite - yummy food and surroundings, breakfast and brunch/lunch. Lots of parking, and safe for little kids to play, with outdoor seating when it's warm enough. There's even ducks to feed, and across the road from the northern end of Orewa beach, to walk off the yummy fare.
