If you're looking for an upscale experience nearby, try the Seaglass Restaurant at the Inn by the Sea. The setting is lovely (overlooking gorgeous gardens and Crescent Beach) and you can dine outdoors in good weather. There's also a small bar at the Inn.

They have a great little bar with a fireplace...and they allow dogs! There is also a more upscale restaurant on site and an outdoor seating area with ocean views.

Nice bar, excellent patio w fire pit, tremendous views, easy walk to the beach, but the formal dining room might be a tad pricey for the food delivered.

End your day in Cape Elizabeth with a drink (or dinner!) at Inn by the Sea. We have had many wonderful evenings here! The lounge has a perfect fireplace, and such comfortable seating. Outside there are firepits and chairs overlooking the ocean. There is a restaurant called the Sea Glass restaurant there at the Inn, where we often head for our anniversary. LOTS of vegan options, local produce, and ocean view from every window. Take the boardwalk from behind the Inn right down to Crescent Beach for a walk on the beach before heading home.
