The beauty and the beast ... the ugly duckling and the swan ... Tropea and Pizzo ... Tropea is the big rival although not to compare. Tropea is more city, has more noble palazzi, more city beach, more tourists but less soul. It is nice to visit, but good to be home in Pizzo. It can be done in 1/2 day, but take your bathing suits, on the way to Tropea are nice beaches, or take a swim at Tropea's city beach or continue to Capo Vaticano. Can be reached by local train.
