Bus no 23 comes right at our door and will take you to Ocean Beach and SF Zoo. Enjoy a day full of activities here looking at exotic animals, riding the train or simply relax on the beach... be sure to carry your jacket!
The San Francisco Zoo is about 45mins to 1hr from our area. It's quite enjoyable for anyone to visit. I recommend the train ride. It's peaceful & beautiful to experience.
The zoo cares for animals who can't live in the wild or were born in captivity. They have worked to make it a great place for the animals and the visitors. There is lots to do and see and they are always adding new features and exhibits. If you're here during the holidays, definitely go to the Zoo…
San Francisco Zoo has been a staple for many years. With giraffes, monkeys, penguins, and many exotic animals. A great place to learn more about these amazing animals!
Families come for the nearly 1,000 animals. Kids’ zoo, steam train, carousel & special exhibits.

“Go here on a warm day to see San Francisco iconic Ocean Beach. In the summer evenings its legal to have a bonfire, so check online and bring your own wood!”

“The local mall. They have a bunch of the expected mall stores, a gym, a trader joes grocery, and some restaurants. Blaze pizza is very good if you want a pizza.”

“What to say? One of the great parks of the United States. Just head down the hill to Kezar Stadium (at the very bottom of Willard Street) and you'll see the GGP right beyond it (walk around Kezar to the west to enter the park). You can also enter on Stanyan and Haight (and at many other points). Enjoy the Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, the Conservatory of Flowers (great night time light shows in the summer and winter) and many, many other features of the park.”

“The photo is out of date as remodeled. Historic ocean view restaurant with Lands End parking lots uphill. Do not leave anything of value inside car if driving as car breakins occur all over the city, especially in tourist spots.”
