A real English local pub, board games stacked in the corner, and a good range of beer. A simple menu with decent meals priced between £7-£12. Sometimes the cellar is converted into a theatre!

Well this pub/ restaurant is definitely my favourite, a really old quirky pub, with fine dining in the evenings, please dont be put off by the outside as this pub provides the most amazing food! Can not recommend this place to eat more.The menu changes regularly, thus providing local fresh produce at all times. Fantastic ambiance, great service and a amazing selection of whiskies, fine wines and good ales
