Great hiking trails, canoeing and kayaking. Very good example of a multi-community effort to restore habitat. Great variety of habitat. Beautiful views and countryside.

Beautiful driftless area to hike, bike, and horseback ride. Very scenic and beautiful trails, some can be challenging.

This area was acquired thru the act of imminent domain for the purpose of stopping the flooding out of the existing town in the area. This project failed and the land was later given back to WI for the use of a preserve. The nature center is great and the Preserve offers lots of hiking, equestrian trails and cross country/snowshoeing trails.
