Sunrise Peak via Sunrise Trail is a 3.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Fountain Hills, Arizona that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running and is accessible year-round.

I grew up in Fountain Hills, north of Scottsdale. I used to hike Sunrise trail very often, it is beautiful!

One of my favorite hikes, about 3.8 miles round trip with a steady climb. Panoramic views. Dogs are allowed.

My favorite hike in the Scottsdale area. Sees some traffic, but nothing like the other peaks like Camelback or Piestewa. Reasonably doable for all ages.
