You would love the salmon fish soup here. It is served in traditional Macedonian pots, with garlic sauce and home made bread buns. Simply delicious. Best time to go is for brunch or lunch time.

One of the best restaurants in the city. It offers traditional Macedonian food but also international cuisine. Perfect for a lunch or dinner. Live music everyday and gets a little crowded during the weekend.

If you are looking for a traditional experience while in Skopje, this fine Macedonian establishment is always busy for a good reason and is definitely worth the trek to the western suburbs to enjoy its many pleasures. Featuring amiable waiters who wish only to bring yet another armload of dishes to your table, if you’re on a diet (and you might have to be after reviving yourself with an espresso), try the čiorba (sour soup), served in hanging copper pots with lashings of fresh white bread.
