Whittaker park is a lovely little park, it has a fenced in area for children, it is dog friendly, it also has what is locally known as the cage, which is a caged sports pitch, paid for by a footballer, it is lit up during the winter nights too, it is free, it also has tennis courts, free. it also host its own lovely bar and restaurant, called The whittaker, it is known to be pricey though, so check out any offers.

Lovely museum with a newly opened restaurant. Free coffee refills from breakfast until 11am. In the old house, overlooking the manicured gardens of the park.
