Everything here, great shops, restaurants, coffee etc. The water village is opposite, largest in Asia. Hire a boat round it and the Palace, largest in the world, and the endemic proboscis monkeys.

The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex (Yayasan Complex) is one of the various infrastructural development projects coordinated by Yayasan. Standing magnificently on a strategic area between the two pinnacle symbols of Bandar Seri Begawan which are the Omar ´Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Kampong Air, Yayasan Complex is the centre of attraction to the public and tourists. The Yayasan Complex is one of Yayasan´s investment projects in the areas of Real Estate whereby a huge portion of the investment returns will be used to finance the charity events and projects coordinated by Yayasan. Each of the tenants is indirectly involved in ´investing´ for the well-being of the people of Brunei Darussalam. This complex was officially opened by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu´izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam on 4 Rabiulakhir 1417H corresponding to 19 August 1996. Built on the bank of the Brunei River with an area of approximately 4 hectares, the Yayasan Complex is one of the biggest commercial centres in the vicinity of Bandar Seri Begawan. The Complex is comprised of 4 buildings that are divided into 8 blocks with a floor space of approximately 110,350 square metres. Also known as ´One Stop Shopping Complex´, the Yayasan Complex provides several commercial activities under one roof such as office, supermarket, bank, boutique, clinic, cybercafe, bookshop, food court and restaurant. Besides that, the complex has also provided several of other facilities such as surau, exhibition hall, multi-purpose hall, public toilets and parking lots which can accommodate about 1,500 cars.

The complex is central to most commercial activities in Bandar Seri Begawan. It also host a fountain that provide the most famous photo shoot location with Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien in the background. You can do your shopping in the complex including tradition handicrafts and tourist trinkets.
