You can book a stay , only problem is food, not at all appetizing. Can go for a long walk , and see deer in the wild , if lucky , may see wild elephant who knows no borders , coming to the sanctuary from Karnataka . Monkeys are plenty and a menace , may come across , wil baffalo , fowl , peacocks , occ . Wild cats

Although it is the smallest of all the wildlife sanctuaries in Goa, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is also the most popular with children, families and eco-tourists. Its convenient location in the Ponda Taluka combined with its manageable size of just 8 sq. km; make it an ideal destination for a day trip. The sanctuary is well equipped to entertain both day trippers and overnight visitors. In addition to the plethora of animal and plant life that one can experience within the sanctuary, there are also a number of other attractions including a zoo, deer safari park, botanical gardens and Nature Interpretation Centre.

Goa is a haven for nature and wildlife enthusiasts, as it is home to 1 national park (Bhagvan Mahavir) and 5 wildlife sanctuaries. The Bondla wild life sanctuary (which also houses the Bondla Zoo) is the smallest and is located at the foothills of the western ghats.The other are - Dr. Salim Ali bird sanctuary, Cotigao wildlife sanctuary, Mhadei wildlife sanctuary and Netravali wildlife sanctuary. Research which one is the best suited for you and have a great adventure.
