The entrance to Laguna Kaan Luum costs about 300 MX and they only accept cash. It is usually busier on weekends. If you go during the week and early, you will have the lagoon almost all to yourself. Extra cost may appy if you want to fly a dron or do some other activity like paddle boarding or kayaking, available for rent at the entrance. Bring your in food and drinks to enjoy yor day.

What makes Laguna Kaan Luum special is the color of the water and the fact the center is a deep cenote. Some say the center is about 80 meters (262ft.) deep. You can tell the color contrast between the center of the lagoon and the sides.

Beautiful lagoon near Tulum (15 min ride) An amazing natural spot to relax with a great view, the lagoon has a cenote in the middle.

This beautiful lagoon is surrounded by the majestic fauna of the jungle, with a little rustic facilities but a unique charm. It is perfect for families because the lagoon is endless and the area is very safe. Locals recommend to avoid sunblock or repellent before getting into the water. You can use it afterwards, of course, but if you bring it they will ask you to leave it at the entrance and return for it later. You can bring your own food and beverages, but for the beer the permitted is a six pack maximum per family. There are around 6 family tables with seats where you can have lunch. Pets are not allowed. The parking area is large enough to have cars, bikes and motorcycles. The access is $60.00 pesos per person and it is payable in cash (US dollars accepted) upon arrival. The lagoon welcomes visitors every day of the week and from 9:00am to 5:00pm (low season) or from 9:00am to 6:00pm during high season.
