Take a tour of Gonzaga's campus just a block or two away. The campus showcases modern architecture and historical buildings that are a must see when in Spokane. Grab a coffee or bagel in the Hemmingson center and make your way across campus to checkout the Jundt Art Museum open to the public.

Right in the heart of downtown Spokane, Gonzaga University is home to the nationally ranked men’s basketball team. A small oasis that feels like an Ivy League campus with the brick buildings running along the Spokane river. Do whatever you can to get your hands on a pair of tickets to watch the GU men’s basketball team play in The Kennel, you won’t regret it! We recommend drinks at Logan’s Tavern or Jack and Dan’s to feel like a true GU student/alumni.

Founded in 1887, this campus is a jewel of historical beauty in Spokane! Walk along the many paths and explore the meticulously landscaped gardens and variety of deciduous trees. There is a grassy hill overlooking the river with benches to rest and contemplate. St. Aloysius church is on campus and gorgeous inside with a multitude of roses on the outside! The Jundt Art Museum is also here and worth a visit. Enjoy seeing the old buildings mixed in with new, including the new Martin Woldson Performing Arts Center with it's modern architecture. In the Hemingson center building there are restaurants, a store, a bar with indoor / outdoor seating, and a Starbucks, of course. Across the street on Hamilton is the historic college hangout, "Jack and Dan's Bar & Grill" with great food. Don't forget to visit the Zags shop for some Zag swag! (Our daughter attends this university!)
