An hour drive for the unit is Emerald Creek falls - my all time favourite swimming spot. AWD is recommended as it's a corrugated unsealed road. It’s a 15 minute hot walk to the falls but absolutely worth it! There is a day use area and toilets a near the car park and shallow swimming for little kids) or you can walk to the falls. If your more adventurous you’ll find other secluded and spectacular spots along the way up the track.

Situated on the outskirts of Mareeba. Wonderful day out. Walking and hiking tracks. Beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. Breathtaking views.

Similar to Davies Creek, but a bit drier surrounds. Nice for relaxing, splashing and swimming. Beautiful waterfall!
