The original State penitentiary built in the late 1800s and used until 1981. See why they only had a 33% recidivism rate. Take a sweater it could be pretty cool inside.

Tina and her staff put on a great in depth tour! You'll love walking the grounds and you can even sit in the gas chamber! It is cash only, $7 per person.

This is a great place to stop and soak up some Wyoming state history. There is also a nice little walking path right next to the building, if you want to stretch your legs.

Tina and her staff do an amazing job taking you through the prison. If you're here around Halloween, make sure you make a reservation for one of their Haunted Tours!
