Susvid opened its doors for the first time in 1976, and is one of the first family restaurants in Makarska. Susvid fosters traditional cuisine, with proven fresh groceries from local family producers. It is located next to St. Mark's church, on the main square.

This is one of the restaurants with the longest tradition in Makarska. I can't remember the time when it wasn't here! It wouldn't still be working if the food wasn't really good. They offer traditional Dalmatian cuisine, lots of fish, grilled meat; definitely try Pašticada - our local speciality! The same owner has the Peškera Restaurant on the beach promenade - also highly recommended!
