Not in the neighborhood, but you gotta drop in. One of the proprietors (and a bartender) is one of my oldest and best friends. If you look above the ATM, you can see a black & white photo that I took 20 years ago.

Dirty dive bar done right. Enjoy a PBR at the location where Jimmy Carter jumped on the bar and announced that he was running for President!

Hole in the wall, but a Savannah Classic. New ownership brings a little pizazz to the drinks, but it is still, in the best sense, a dive. And, Jimmy Carter stood on the bar to give a stump speech in '78.
